“No agenda, Lord. Take it all — my pain, my weight, my broken, shattered heart and life.”
-Eagle
Sometimes life shatters us so completely that there’s nothing left to offer but our brokenness. And maybe that’s exactly what God was waiting for — the moment when we finally let go of control and surrender all that we are. In these moments, we are crucified with Christ: not in the literal sense, but in spirit. We lay down everything we thought we had to carry, and in doing so, we create room for divine restoration. Surrender isn’t weakness. It’s where resurrection begins.
The crucifixion is not the end. It’s the sacred threshold.
Stay there as long as needed.
Stay until the old self is fully surrendered, and the new life —
the resurrection life —
begins to breathe within you.
